Report: Ralf Rangnick to help make this important decision for Manchester United

According to reputable football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, new interim boss Ralf Rangnick will have some influence over who gets to become Manchester United’s next permanent manager.
Rangnick was announced as new interim manager on Monday, after the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who had a disappointing ending to his managerial career at Old Trafford.
The German is set to be at the helm until the end of the season, after which he will take on a consultancy role for another two years.
And Fabrizio says that the new boss has the ears of the owners of Man United, and his input will be highly considered when it’s time to appoint a new permanent coach for the club.
Man United are said to be highly interested in luring Mauricio Pochettino away from Paris Saint-Germain to Old Trafford, but it remains to be seen if he will still be the favoured candidate, with Rangnick now in picture.
