Ronaldo breaks record after win against Arsenal
Cristiano Ronaldo has reached a major milestone in his football career, after helping Manchester United secure a valuable win against Arsenal.
Ronaldo scored twice, including a penalty, to help United move to seventh place on the Premier League table.
The Portugese’ first goal came in the 52nd minute of the match, and it happened to be his 800th as a football player. It also makes the striker the first football player in history to reach the milestone.
Ronaldo also bagged his 801st goal during the encounter, after scoring from the penalty spot, to make it 3-2 in United’s favour.
It must also be said that the achievement comes after Ronaldo overcame Iran’s Ali Daei, to become the footballer with the most international goals ever. He currently has 115— 6 more than the Iranian had during his time.
