Manchester United have reportedly indicated their interest in signing Chelsea star, Antonio Rudiger, reports claim.

The German defender is a key part of Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel, after helping them win the UEFA Champions League last season.

But Rudiger is out of contract at the end of the season, and talks for an extension haven’t been fruitful.

According to The Independent, the defender may be on his way out of Chelsea if things remain the way they are.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are said to be keen on signing the former AS Roma centre back, who already has an ‘informal agreement’ with Real Madrid.

Reports say the player’s brother and agent, Sahr Senesie held talks with thes Spanish giants recently, and they’re ahead in the race to sign him.

United need to strengthen their defence, having conceded a ridiculous amount of goals this term, with Harry Maguire not particularly impressing of late, and the club are said to be eyeing Rudiger’s situation at Chelsea.

Do you think Manchester United can pull this deal, and does the club need Rudiger when there is Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof?
