Dates confirmed for Manchester United’s Champions League last-16 game against Atletico Madrid
The dates for Manchester United’s Champions League last-16 games against Atletico Madrid have been confirmed.
UEFA have confirmed the first-leg in Spain will take place on Wednesday, 23 February with the game kicking off at 8pm GMT.
The return leg will take place at Old Trafford on Tuesday, 15 March. That fixture will also kick-off at 8pm GMT.
Manchester United and Atletico Madrid have only met twice in competitive European football before, in the 1991/92 European Cup Winners’ Cup, when the home side won 3-0 at the Vicente Calderon. The second leg was a 1-1 draw, with Mark Hughes scoring for the Reds.
