Ralf Rangnick reveals what Anthony Martial should do if he wants to leave Manchester United
Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has told Manchester United forward to speak to him directly or to the board if he wants to leave Manchester United.
Last week, Martial’s agent Philippe Lamboley revealed the forward is intent on leaving Old Trafford in January in pursuit of more game time.
“Well, I don’t communicate with agents via the media or the press,” Rangnick said in response to Martial’s agent claiming the striker wants to leave.
“The player hasn’t spoken with me or with us about it.
“After the final training session before the Crystal Palace game, after having trained with the team, he informed the doctor and the medical department that the pain on his knee is too big.
“So, we have to wait and see, maybe he can train tomorrow but I have to speak to the doctor first. To be honest, what his agent has said in the media is not that much of interest.”
“No, because then I’d react to what the agent has said,” Rangnick said when asked if would seek Martial’s version of events.
“It should be the player. If a player wishes to go to another club, it should be the player who informs either the board or myself, whoever.
“I have never spoken to a player via media or agents.”
