Martial finally reacts after Ralf Rangnick claimed he refused to play against Aston Villa

Anthony Martial has debunked the claim by Ralf Rangnick that he didn’t want to be a part of Manchester United’s game against Aston Villa last weekend.
United threw away a two goal lead to draw Villa 2-2 on Saturday, after yet another appalling display from the boys.
Anthony Martial was a notable absence from the clash, and when asked about it, Rangnick told the media the Frenchman didn’t want to be involved.
In his own words, ‘He didn’t want to be in the squad.
‘He would have been in the squad normally but he didn’t want to and that was the reason why he didn’t travel with us yesterday.’
However, the forward has denied any such thing was the case, insisting he would never disrespect Man United and its fans. In a message he shared on his instagram, he wrote, ‘I will never refuse to play a match for Man United.
“I’ve been here for 7 years and I never disrespected and never will disrespect the club and the fans.”
Martial’s future at United remains in the balance, with the club refusing to loan him out to Sevilla, after the Spanish side failed to meet their demands.
He’s made just 10 appearances across all competitions for Man United this season.
