Manchester City vs Manchester United: Match officials for Premier League clash has been confirmed
Manchester United take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium and the officials for the game have been confirmed.
Michael Oliver has been appointed as the referee to take charge of Manchester Derby at the weekend.
It will be the third time that Oliver has officiated a game involving the Red Devils in the Premier League this season. Unfortunately, we have not won a single game in which Oliver has officiated so far this season.
In fact, Oliver was actually the referee for the Manchester Derby earlier this season which we lost 0-2 at Old Trafford.
To make things even more challenging, the VAR referee for the game will be Stuart Atwell. He was the VAR referee in United’s games against Burnley and Middlesbrough earlier this year, giving some controversial calls in both of them.
The game at the weekend is a must-win for us as we push for Champions League qualification.
