According to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United could make a move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandoski in the summer transfer window.
The Polish striker is seen as a potential replacement for veteran striker Edison Cavani who is expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Lewandoski’s contract at the Allianz Arena is set to expire in June after which he could negotiate with any club as a free agent.
A major sticking point is that the club will have to qualify for the next season’s Champions League as the Pole would want to play in Europe’s elite competition if he is to move to the Theatre of Dreams.
The Bayern striker won the FIFA Best Player Award in 2021 and is among the leading goal scorers in Europe, having scored 39 goals in 33 appearances this season.
