Super Computer rates Manchester United’s chances of winning the Champions League
The supercomputer at FiveThirtyEight has revealed an updated list of teams considered favourites to win this season’s UEFA Champions League.
Manchester City have the highest rating, with Pep Guardiola’s side backed with a 26% chance of winning the competition.
Liverpool have a 21% chance of winning the competition, while Bayern Munich have been handed an 18% rating.
The top five is rounded off by Chelsea and Ajax, who both have a 10% chance of lifting the silver trophy at the end of the season.
Manchester United have been handed a mere 1% chance of winning the competition, following the 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid, although United have been backed to reach the quarter finals at 54%, semis at 17%, and the final at 5%.
