Manchester United’s Premier League game against Liverpool has been postponed. Here’s why
Manchester United’s Premier League game against Liverpool set to take place on Sunday March 20th has been postponed.
This is because Liverpool are through to the FA Cup quarter-finals after beating Norwich City 2-0 on Wednesday night.
The Premier League clash between Manchester United and Liverpool will now be pushed to later in the campaign, but there is no suggestion of when it may take place.
Both Liverpool and United are still in the Champions League, which further limits the available midweeks.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are set to take on rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this weekend in a Premier League clash the club cannot afford to lose.
The Red Devils are fourth in the Premier League, two points ahead of Arsenal but the Gunners have played three games less.
