According to Spanish media outlet El Nacional via Manchester Evening News, Spanish side Real Madrid are eyeing a summer move for Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot.

The report claims Real Madrid have made signing a new right-back a priority ahead of the summer transfer window as they look to replace Dani Carvajal.

Carvajal has proved a mainstay in the team throughout Madrid’s illustrious period in the past nine years but the Spanish right-back has struggled with injuries in recent years.

In the past two seasons especially, he has suffered from a host of injury problems. Last term, a hamstring injury Carvajal miss 12 games and he has already had three separate spells out this campaign.

It is suggested Dalot and Norwich full-back Max Aarons are both on Real Madrid’s shortlist.
