Sir Alex Ferguson recommends former Chelsea manager as permanent Manchester United manager

Sir Alex Ferguson has recommended former Chelsea boss and current Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti for the Manchester United job should a move for Mauricio Pochettino fail to materialise.

This is according to a report by ESPN via Daily Mail which claims Manchester United are considering Ancelotti as a surprise short-term backup option.

Pochettino and Ajax’s Erik Ten Hag are the top targets for Manchester United but Ancelotti has now emerged as an option.

Ancelotti has a close relationship with legendary former United boss Ferguson, who has been giving advice to the club’s new CEO Richard Arnold.

Ancelotti has led Real Madrid to the top of the Spanish league this season and they are favourites win the La Liga as they are six points clear at the top.

Ancelotti has won the Champions League on three occasions – twice with AC Milan and once with Real Madrid.

He has won the Premier League and FA Cup during his time as Chelsea manager.

I am seriously tired with recommendations of Sir Fergie. See the recommendation that he gave to David Moyes. Man united should swiftly go for Ajax’s Erik Ten Hag in order to make United great again.
