Manchester United had 68% possession and 22 shots against Watford, but United could only get a point from that game after a goalless draw between the two sides.
United boss Ralf Rangnick was disappointed with his team’s inability to finish off the game, despite having dominated the stats for much of the game.
Bruno Fernandes seemed to have suggested how Manchester United would play in this weekend’s derby clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Of course, United won’t have that much possession at the Etihad Stadium, but Bruno Fernandes will be urging for efficiency.
“The game was the same as what happened against Middlesbrough in the cup,” Bruno Fernandes said.
“But we didn’t go through in that one and we didn’t win today, so I prefer to create one or two chances and win the game and probably sometimes not have the control of the game in our hands.”
