Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani had missed a month of action for United due to a groin injury that has kept him out.
Speaking ahead of the game with Manchester United, Rangnick has revealed that the Uruguayan is back in training and will be part of the squad to face Manchester City.
“Yeah, he’s back in training since yesterday. Today was his second training session with the team,” Rangnick said.
“It looks good so I think he could at least be part of the group for Sunday.
“Apart from that we have two or three question marks behind some players, but we will have to wait and see what happens by tomorrow or Sunday.
“Edinson I think, as it stands now, will be part of the group.”
Cavani has been a useful part of the squad, and the Uruguayan striker adds something different to the team.
