Liverpool legend John Barnes has weighed in on who will be the next manager of Manchester United.
Ralf Rangnick is currently operating on an interim basis, and the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag are among the potential candidates.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has also been linked with the job, but Barnes doesn’t see that happening.
Barnes has now tipped Pochettino as the right man to take over United, due to his experience in the league.
“Pochettino would be a good fit for the United job because he knows the Premier League,” Barnes told BonusCodeBets.
“Diego Simeone has been mentioned and Carlo Ancelotti is now the story in the newspapers, but I don’t think that’s a starter.
“Of the ones mentioned Pochettino is the best fit. People coming into the Premier League who’ve never experienced it before will find it difficult early on. Pochettino understands it and he’s well respected.”
