Former Germany international Sami Khedira, has hailed the quality of Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, but revealed that the Portuguese has always been a selfish player.
Khedira spent five years at Real Madrid between 2010-2015, where he won a Champions League trophy, a La Liga title and a number of other titles.
The duo will then link up at Juventus, and Khedira has revealed what he noticed in the two versions of Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I met two Cristianos, the first at Real Madrid, a little younger and maybe a little more insecure and selfish,” he told Diario AS.
“Not in a bad way, but he had to find his personality. He scored many, many goals and was fantastic, but did not have so much influence on the team.
“Then, in my second experience with Cristiano, at Juventus, he ends up coming to the team and he has the same selfishness, which is the selfishness of scoring, but with more leadership.”
