Gary Neville makes surprise Manchester United top four prediction after 4-1 defeat to Manchester City

Manchester United’s 4-1 defeat to Manchester City ensured United dropped out of 4th place.

It’s going to be a massive race for a top four finish this season, and the loss to City which came after the 1-1 draw with Watford, has damaged United’s chances of a top four finish.

United are a point behind 4th place Arsenal who have played three games less, and West Ham and Tottenham are also in the race for a top four finish. As a matter of fact, Tottenham are two points behind Manchester United in 7th place, and they have two outstanding games.

Despite all these, Manchester United legend Gary Neville somehow believes that United will seal a top four finish.

“I still think United could do it,” he said on Sky Sports.

“I just don’t trust Arsenal fully. I think it would be brilliant for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal if they did it those young players it would be fantastic.

“But, I do think they have got some big games still to play. I think Manchester United have still got to go to Arsenal as well, there is a long way to go and United could still do it.”
