Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski could be a Manchester United player next season, according to reports in Germany.

German media outlet BILD claims Manchester United are monitoring Lewandowski’s situation at Bayern, and are lining up a deal to try and lure him to Old Trafford.

Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has urged the board to sign a new striker in the summer, with Edinson Cavani looking set to leave while there is uncertainty over Cristiano Ronaldo’s future.

Lewandowski’s contract expires in 2023, and the Poland international is said to be ‘surprised’ that talks over a new deal haven’t yet begun.
