Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to training after missing Sunday’s Premier League defeat to Manchester City.
Ronaldo was seen returning to Manchester United’s Carrington training ground on Tuesday after spending two days in Portugal, according to Manchester Evening News.
Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick claimed Ronaldo missed the derby on Sunday due to injury, and it is understood the Portugal international jetted off to Lisbon on the same day.
Plenty of rumours have been flying around over Ronaldo’s absence on derby day, and the extent of his injury is yet to be made clear.
He could well be fit though for the clash against Tottenham on Saturday, providing he’s able to train as normal this week.
