Gary Neville: There’s a big problem in the Manchester United dressing room between these players
Manchester United legend Gary Neville still believes there are ‘big problems’ between the big characters in the Manchester United dressing room despite Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
“I think there’s big problems in that dressing room, I really do at this moment in time, between the characters in the dressing room that exist,” Neville said on Sky Sports after United’s win.
“I don’t think it’s great at all. To be fair, if Tottenham had got one in front at any point in the game you’d have seen it capitulate quite quickly.
“There’s not a deep spirit in that dressing room, I don’t think, that you see in games. The performances are very patchy.
“You get the impression when you see Ralf Rangnick’s interviews that he’s not enjoying the team that much, it’s not really in his name or in his spirit or how he wants to play.
“He’s just trying to get through to the end of the season the best he can and do the best job he can, and he’s plastering over cuts and wounds that I think are deep.”
