The Manchester United legend has formed a reputation for being a hard critic, and was at it again before kick-off against Tottenham.

The club legend attacked Manchester United centre-backs Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane for wearing gloves during warm up against Spurs, insisting that it sent a wrong message.

He said: “Are they gloves, are they wearing gloves there? Am I seeing things? That’s a great message

“Two big strong centre halves wearing gloves? I don’t mind the full-backs.”
