Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has sent a message to Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portugal international scored a hat-trick in the 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Amid claims that Ronaldo is a problem in the Manchester United dressing room, Evra was delighted to see Ronaldo silence his doubters by scoring a hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur.
Taking to Twitter after the game, Evra tweeted: “@Cristiano, bro, please keep being the problem.”
If being the problem being at Manchester United means scoring hat-tricks every game, Evra has urged Ronaldo to keep being the problem.
Meanwhile, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has insisted Ronaldo ‘has never been a problem’ at Manchester United.
“It was a beautiful game and a beautiful reaction from us,” Pogba told BBC Sport after Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick.
“We hurt them at the right times and Ronaldo did what he does best. He has never been a problem. You have the best striker in history in our team, he cannot be a problem. Today the performance from him and all the team was very brilliant.”
