Rangnick reveals the number of changes he’d make against Atletico Madrid
Manchester United have a huge Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
Both teams played out a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium a fortnight ago, but United will be aiming for a win to reach the quarterfinal stage.
As it stands, the Champions League remains the only competition Manchester United can win this season, and Ralf Rangnick isn’t taking this competition lightly.
The United boss has a full squad at his disposal for this Champions League fixture, but he has revealed that he won’t be making too many changes to the team that beat Tottenham 3-2 on Saturday.
Speaking on his lineup for tomorrow’s game, Rangnick said: “I have to make that decision by tomorrow, so it’s possible we have some new players in the starting XI.
“But there is not much reason to change too many positions. It’s good to have everybody available, that’s better than missing five or six players.”
