Manchester United have narrowed their manager search to a five-man shortlist.

According to a report on Daily Mail, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is on Manchester United’s list of candidates to take over as manager at Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Tuchel’s situation at Chelsea amid the chaos at Stamford Bridge.

Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui and Spain coach Luis Enrique have also joined long-term contenders Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag among some of the other names being considered by United.

The Old Trafford hierarchy want to narrow down their search and make a decision as soon as possible with the process said to be entering an advanced stage.

Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick, who replaced former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, will step down at the end of the season and take on a consultancy role at the club.
