Manchester United target La Liga goalkeeper as potential replacement for David de Gea
Manchester United are targeting Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou with David De Gea potentially looking to move on to help him earn a place back in the Spain squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup, according to Daily Mail.
David de Gea recently entered the final 18 months of his contract at Manchester United and it is feared he could push to leave at the end of the season after losing his place in the Spain squad.
Bounou, 29, has two years left on his Sevilla contract from the end of the season and it will cost around £25million to trigger the release clause in that contract.
The report also adds that Sevilla know about Manchester United’s interest in signing the 29 year old goalkeeper and are keen to extend his current deal to deter United.
