‘Take him off that list’ – Reporter insists Champions League winning coach won’t join Manchester United

Manchester United are set to appoint a permanent manager at the end of the season, but it’s yet to be seen who will take over from Ralf Rangnick.

Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag are the two leading candidates for the Manchester United job, but nothing is certain yet.

Sevilla’s Julen Lopetegui and Spain boss Luis Enrique, have also been thrown into the mix at times, but Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has moved to shut down hopes of Enrique joining Manchester United, and is adamant he will not leave his job before the 2022 World Cup in November.

Indeed, Enrique would be a fine choice as he has done well for Spain and Barcelona, but with the Champions League winning coach ruled out of the job, who then will be the best bet for the Manchester United job?
