According to Daily Mail, West Ham are demanding £150million for midfielder Declan Rice to join Manchester United this summer.

The 23 year old midfielder has stalled on signing a new West Ham contract and with Rice having just two years left on his contract, West Ham want to cash in on the England international this summer.

The £150million fee West Ham are demanding for Rice is £50 million more than Manchester City’s British record signing Jack Grealish.

Manchester United aren’t the only club interested in a move for Rice, with Premier League rivals Chelsea also interested in signing the 23 year old England international.

However, with Chelsea unable to sign players at the moment due to the Government sanctioning of owner Roman Abramovich, West Ham will struggle to get their demand for Rice as Manchester United will be the only bidder.

The report also adds that Rice is known to be interested in a move to United but it is unclear whether the Red Devils could stretch to splashing out the huge fee West Ham reportedly want.

With Paul Pogba set to leave Manchester United at the end of the season when his contract expires, signing a midfielder this summer is a priority for Manchester United.
