Cristiano Ronaldo sets another record after scoring in 3-1 defeat to Arsenal. He’s the first player ever to achieve this
Cristiano Ronaldo has been one of the few positives for Manchester United in a season that has underwhelming.
Ronaldo set another record in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium, becoming only the fourth Manchester United player to score 100 Premier League goals. Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney are the only former Manchester United players to score 100 Premier League goals.
Ronaldo also became the first player to score 100 goals in the Champions League, Premier League, and La Liga following his goal against Arsenal on Saturday.
Ronaldo dedicated his goal against Arsenal to his baby son, who died during childbirth last week.
The Portuguese forward showed his immense mental fortitude when he showed up for training mere days after the tragedy. Fans would hope that the superstar is doing well as messages of support continue to pour in.
