“Leave me alone” – Erik ten Hag tells Manchester United
According to ESPN, Manchester United hierarchy are under strict instructions not to bother new manager Erik ten Hag in the 48 hours before Ajax games.
Ten Hag has signed a three year contract with Manchester United with an option to extend for another year and will replace Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.
The Dutchman has already been involved in the key decision-making ahead of next season but wants full focus on Ajax, with the Dutch side still in the hunt for the Eredivisie title.
Ajax are four points clear at the top of the table with four games remaining. They have a home game against PEC Zwolle on Saturday and end their campaign with a trip to Vitesse on May 15.
Ten Hag reportedly told Manchester United to let him focus on Ajax during negotiations to become United boss.
