“It’s 11 vs 11. We don’t fear Manchester United” – Ralf Rangnick receives warning from Brentford
Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick has received a warning from Brentford ahead of Monday’s Premier League game against Brentford at Old Trafford.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank insists it’s 11 vs 11 and his team don’t fear Manchester United despite the big players that the Red Devils have.
Brentford head into the game against Manchester United in fine form having won three of their last five games including a 4-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge while Manchester United have just one victory in our last five games.
“It’s 11 vs 11,” Brentford boss Frank said. “I know they have a fantastic history and big names on the back of their shirts but it’s about going there, expressing ourselves, and trying to do our best.
“We want to go into every game with confidence and belief that you can do something.
“We are not going there with fear. If we could win there, it would be unbelievable.”
Meanwhile, Rangnick has revealed Jadon Sancho could miss the rest of the season with tonsillitis.
Speaking ahead of United’s final home game against Brentford on Monday night, Rangnick said: “As it seems, Jadon might be out for the rest of the season with his tonsillitis so he will most likely be not available against Brentford.
“Since the last game is another three weeks to go against Crystal Palace, but for the next two games I think it is unlikely.”
