Erik ten Hag is set to take over from Ralf Rangnick once he finishes his duties at Ajax, starting his Old Trafford spell on July 1.
Ten Hag signed a three year contract to become the new Manchester United boss ahead of next season in April. His contract has an option to extend for another year.
Ten Hag’s first game in charge of Manchester United will be against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side, it has been confirmed.
The Red Devils are heading on a pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia this summer and the first three fixtures have been officially confirmed.
Manchester United will face Liverpool on July 12 at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The Red Devils then travel to Australia to continue pur preseason tour which will see us face Melbourne Victory on July 15, Crystal Palace on July 19 and Aston Villa on July 23.

“It will be difficult to leave Ajax after these incredible years, and I can assure our fans of my complete commitment and focus on bringing this season to a successful conclusion before I move to Manchester United.”
