Two Manchester United stars fight during training
Manchester United’s disappointing season reached a new low when two senior players fought during training on Thursday.
According to The Sun, the shocking incident happened towards the end of a training session at the Carrington base on Thursday.
While the players have not been named, they are reportedly ‘senior’ members of the dressing room, with the bust-up leaving many of their teammates ‘stunned’.
The scrap allegedly occurred towards the end of Thursday’s training at Carrington, with the session then cut short and all the players told to get changed.
Following the disappointing 4-0 defeat to Brighton, Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick gave the players four days off.
After winning the Dutch title with Ajax this week, new Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag admitted that reviving the fortunes of Manchester United will be a major challenge.
“It feels like a challenge to put the club back on track of winning. The options are there, including financially,” Ten Hag said in an interview with Voetbal International magazine.
“I’ve also got a good feeling about the people who are there, and that we can take a step in the direction.”
