“It will be a new experience” – Manchester United player confirms he’s leaving for the Spanish league
Manchester United youngster Martin Svidersky has officially announced his exit from the club.
The 19 year old midfielder is leaving Manchester United as a free agent after opting against extending his contract with the Red Devils.
The Slovakia under-21 international midfielder made 27 appearances for the academy this season and he played a key role in United’s U23s’ campaign in the Premier League 2.
Svidersky posted a message on his Instagram account confirming his exit: “Thank you for everything Manchester United. This club will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you God for guiding me on this journey, without you this wouldn’t be possible.”
Svidersky discussed his departure from United last week with Slovakian media:
“I have spent the last days in Spain, where my steps will continue,” Svidersky said to RTVS.
“They will follow in the first Spanish league, La Liga. I have high expectations, it will be a new experience, a new country.
“Spain came to me as the best option for my development. It is an opportunity to play men’s football and get more chances.”
