Manchester United are making progress in the club’s bid to sign winger Antony from Ajax, according to Goal.

New Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is a big fan of the Brazilian winger and wants to reunite with Antony at Manchester United.

The representatives of the Brazilian winger are already in England to hold talks with Manchester United and possibly conclude a deal.

Goal also confirms Antony’s future will be decided in the next few days, with Manchester United set to pay around €60 million (£51m/$64m) to land him this summer.

Manchester United are confident of concluding the deal for the Brazilian in the coming days due to the club’s good relationship with Ajax and the player’s desire to work under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

Antony joined Ajax from Sao Paulo in 2020 and quickly became a star player for the Amsterdam club.

Overall, he has made 79 appearances for the Eredivisie champions, scoring 22 goals.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are eyeing a shock move for this Liverpool midfielder.
