Manchester United have put five players up for sale this summer, according to Daily Mail.

Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic have all left Manchester United as free agents this summer and five more players could also leave Old Trafford.

Manchester United stars Dean Henderson, Anthony Martial, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are all available for sale if an appropriate offer comes in.

Henderson is reportedly close to joining newly promoted Premier League club Nottingham Forest.

The Manchester United goalkeeper is expected to join Nottingham Forest on loan with an option to make the move permanent.

Jones joined Manchester United from Blackburn Rovers in 2011 and has been one of the club’s longest-serving players in the current squad.

The 30 year old centre-back made just four Premier League appearances last season and has been linked with a move to Leeds United and Fulham.

Manchester United have also put Bailly up for sale after informing the 28 year old defender that the Red Devils can no longer count on him ahead of next season.

Manchester United are willing to sell Bailly for £10million, with French clubs Lyon and Marseille interested in signing the centre-back.

Martial struggled on loan at Spanish side Sevilla in the second-half of last season and the Red Devils have now put the France international up for sale.

United’s pursuit of a new attacking option will hinge on whether they can find a buyer for Anthony Martial.

Manchester United are in the market for at least one new forward, and have been linked with the likes of Christopher Nkunku and Antony after seeing Liverpool win the race for Darwin Nunez.

Manchester United are looking to offload Martial so the club can create space for a new attacker.

Wan-Bissaka has also been put up for sale and his former club Crystal Palace are favourites to sign the right-back on loan.

Wan-Bissaka arrived from Crystal Palace in 2019 and has made 89 appearances and scored two goals in the league since then.

However, he lost his place in the starting XI to Diogo Dalot under Ralf Rangnick last season.
