Italian giants Juventus are reportedly very close to signing two Manchester United record signings – Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria.

Di Maria joined United for a then-club and British record deal of £60million in 2014 from Real Madrid.

He was one of the best wingers/attacking midfielders in the world at Real Madrid.

Di Maria left for Paris Saint-Germain the next summer after failing to impress at Manchester United.

After seven years at Paris Saint-Germain, Di Maria left the French club this summer as a free agent and is set to join Italian side Juventus.

Pogba returned to Manchester United in 2016 for a then-world record fee of £89million.

Pogba’s transfer to Manchester United remains the club’s most expensive signing in history.

Just like Di Maria, Pogba started off brightly at Manchester United winning the EFL Cup and Europa League in his first season back.

It was mostly downhill from there however, with injuries, poor form, bad management and off-pitch issues preventing the World Cup winner from performing to his best.

Both players – Pogba and Di Maria – cost Manchester United around £149million but Juventus are signing both players for free this summer.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have now fully agreed a contract with Pogba worth around €8million a season plus add-ons and will announce the signing imminently.

Romano also revealed Juventus are still waiting on the ‘final green light’ for Di Maria with the club discussing final details with the player’s camp.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are close to signing Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona after reportedly reaching an agreement with the Spanish side.

The Red Devils are confident of completing the signing of De Jong before Thursday June 30.
