Manchester United have adopted a more ‘secretive’ transfer strategy, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.
The Red Devils have been linked with the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Antony, Lisandro Martinez, Serge Gnabry and Christian Eriksen this summer.
However, Crook believes Manchester United are working on secretly signing two unnamed players this summer.
Crook told GIVEMESPORT: “I think there’s a few names that we don’t even know about.
“With United, I think the days of all those leaks coming out have gone and they’re trying to be a bit more secretive about their dealings.
“I think there’s one or two deals they’re working on that we don’t even know about yet.”
Meanwhile, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has claimed the Spanish side no longer have the intention of selling Frenkie de Jong this summer to Manchester United.
Laporta said: “There are clubs that want him, not just United. We have no intention of selling him, he wants to stay.
“Frenkie is considered as one of the best midfielders in the world by all the experts. We are happy to have him.
“I’m going to do everything I can in my power so that Frenkie stays here, but there’s also a salary issue and that would have to be adjusted.”
