Manchester United have suffered a huge blow to the new season after Cristiano Ronaldo asked to leave the club this summer.

According to The Times, Ronaldo has asked to be allowed to leave Manchester United should the Red Devils receive a satisfactory offer.

Ronaldo is reportedly keen on leaving Manchester United this summer as he want to play Champions League football next season.

He is also frustrated with the club’s lack of activity in the transfer market despite Manchester United finishing sixth last season.

According to Betfair, German champions Bayern Munich are favourites to sign Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo as replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who is keen on leaving for Barcelona.

Premier League rival Chelsea are the second favourites to sign Ronaldo this summer.

Chelsea need a striker this summer after Romelu Lukaku left for Inter Milan and Todd Boehly, Chelsea co-owner, have already met the agent of Ronaldo.

Ronaldo’s former club Real Madrid are third favourites to sign the Manchester United forward, according to Betfair while Italian club Roma are fourth favourites to sign the Portugal captain.

French champions PSG are fifth favourites, Juventus are sixth favourites, Sporting Lisbon are seventh favourites, Inter Milan are eighth favourites and Manchester City are ninth favourites to sign Ronaldo.
