Spanish club Barcelona have been recently linked with a move for Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo this week.

The report emerged after it was revealed Cristiano Ronaldo has asked to leave Manchester United this summer for a new club.

According to reports from Spain, Barcelona enquired about signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United during talks with his agent Jorge Mendes.

However, Portuguese journalist Pedro Sepulveda has now reacted to reports linking Ronaldo with a move to Barcelona this summer.

According to Pedro Sepulveda, Ronaldo won’t be joining Barcelona this summer despite reports in Spain suggesting Barcelona president Joan Laporta has enquired about signing him.

Meanwhile, free agent Paulo Dybala has opened the door to replacing Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United, according to Sky Italia.

The Argentine has been without a club since leaving Juventus at the end of his contract and his preference had been to remain in Italy.

The 28 year old was expected to join Inter Milan this summer but the Italian side has now stalled the transfer.

Paulo Dybala is now ready to evaluate offers from England and has now opened to the door to replacing Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Dybala as a replacement for Ronaldo.

Manchester United have reportedly spoken to Dybala’s representatives in a bid to agree a deal with the 28-year-old.

However, the Argentine is thought to be demanding a big salary – as much as £280,000-a-week – as well as a large signing-on fee, while the deal could be complicated by third-party ownership issues.

Dybala had hoped to stay in Italy but potential suitors Roma, Napoli and AC Milan never made an official offer, while Inter have put him on ‘stand by’.
