Manchester United are closing in on announcing the signing of Christian Eriksen on a free transfer.
The Denmark international is set to be Manchester United’s second signing this summer after Tyrell Malacia was announced on Tuesday.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have already scheduled a medical examination for Christian Eriksen ahead of his arrival at Old Trafford.
Manchester United have finalized all the necessary paperwork for the transfer of Eriksen and it just needs to be signed by the Danish midfielder.
Manchester United are hoping the signing of Eriksen can be concluded by Friday so the Denmark international can join the squad for the pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia. The squad departs on Friday.
Eriksen has verbally agreed to join Manchester United on a three year contract after his six-month deal with Brentford expired at the end of June.
