Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a move to German champions Bayern Munich.
The 37 year old forward has told Manchester United that he wants to leave the club this summer, just one year after joining from Juventus.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner rejoined Manchester United after the Red Devils agreed to a two-year deal with his former Italian club, Juventus.
He was Manchester United’s top goalscorer last season with 24 goals in all competitions.
Bayern Munich director Oliver Kahn has now responded to reports linking Cristiano Ronaldo to Bayern Munich.
According to Kahn, Bayern Munich aren’t interested in signing Ronaldo this summer because he doesn’t fit into the philosophy of the German club.
Speaking to journalist Frank Linkesch, Bayern Munich director Oliver Kahn said:
”As much as I appreciate Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the greatest players, a move would not fit into our philosophy.”
