According to ESPN, Manchester United hold an interest in signing RB Leipzig striker Brian Brobbey.

The 20 year old Dutch striker was on loan at Ajax under Erik ten Hag in the second-half of last season, scoring 7 goals in 13 games.

ESPN have confirmed Manchester United have already been in contact with the German side about a deal and there is hope a fee of under €20m can be agreed.

Meanwhile, Liverpool Airport has poked fun at Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo by offering him a chance to ‘avoid the queues’ and secure a quick exit from Old Trafford at their airport.

The Manchester United star sensationally announced his desire to leave the club this summer despite the arrival of new manager Erik ten Hag.

Liverpool airport’s official account tweeted: “Itching to get out of Manchester, but want to avoid the queues?

“We happily invite @Cristiano to try the North West’s Faster, Easier, Friendlier Airport, where he can connect on to Munich or Lisbon with Lufthansa, or fly Ryanair direct to Paris or Rome.”

Ronaldo scored 24 goals in all competitions for Man United last season and the Red Devils are keen on keeping the Portugal captain at the club next season.

Ronaldo is currently in Lisbon, Portugal and is yet to report for pre-season training.
