Revealed: Manchester United will wear the new home jersey for the first time in this match

Manchester United home jersey

Manchester United launched the club’s home jersey for the 2022/23 season today.

Our new home jersey features a collar for the first time since 2015, when our latest partnership with adidas began.

Manchester United have confirmed the new home jersey will be worn for the first time on the pitch when Erik ten Hag’s team play against Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday 12 July.

Manchester United have announced six pre-season fixtures, taking place in Thailand and Australia, before facing Atletico Madrid in Oslo, and Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford.

Our pre-season games are against Liverpool in Thailand (July 12th), Melbourne Victory in Australia (July 15th), Crystal Palace in Australia (July 18th), Aston Villa in Australia (July 23rd), Atletico Madrid in Norway (July 30th) and Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford (July 31st).

Meanwhile, Manchester United will depart for the pre-season tour of Australia and Thailand today without Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has failed to report for pre-season training, claiming family reasons, and has been given compassionate leave by Manchester United.

The Red Devils don’t know when Ronaldo will report for pre-season training amid uncertainty surrounding his future at the club.

Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United this summer so he can play Champions League football. He is attracting interest from several clubs including Chelsea and Napoli.
