Manchester United to announce new signing this week
Manchester United will announce the transfer of Christian Eriksen this week, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Eriksen has verbally agreed a three year contract with Manchester United. The Red Devils have sent the contract to his lawyers and he’s expected to sign the contract this week.
Eriksen is expected to undergo his Manchester United medical soon and sign his Man United contract.
“Manchester United have had a verbal agreement with Christian Eriksen for a week, they have sent the contracts to his lawyers and are awaiting the signatures,” Romano told Caught Offside.
“The club’s idea is to complete medical examinations and signatures as early as [this] week.”
He added: “Erik ten Hag has insisted a lot on having him at Man United and I think he can be important to increase the quality of a midfield where a player like him is missing.”
ESPN has also confirmed Eriksen is set to undergo his Man United medical shortly and join United’s pre-season tour.
Despite Brentford boss Thomas Frank still insisting Brentford could still hijack the deal, ESPN confirms Eriksen’s mind is made up on joining Man United this summer and has no intentions of walking away from the verbal agreement he has with Man United.
