Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is keen on leaving Old Trafford this summer, with the 37 year old keen on playing Champions League football next season.

With Robert Lewandowski set to join Barcelona, Bayern Munich have again been linked with a move for Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Bayern Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidzic has moved once again to deny the German club want to bring the 37-year-old to the Allianz Arena.

“I have a lot of respect for Cristiano Ronaldo, his successes and his career. But once again: That was and is not a topic for us,” Salihamidzic told SPORT1.

The latest rejection is a further blow to Ronaldo and his desire to leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window. With Bayern the latest club to pull out the race.

Premier League rivals Chelsea and French champions Paris Saint-Germain have also distanced themselves from making a move for Ronaldo.
