Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has sent a message to Lisandro Martinez after the Red Devils announced on Sunday an agreement has been reached with Ajax to sign the Argentine defender.
Martinez will become Erik ten Hag’s third signing as United boss following the arrivals of Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen.
After the deal was announced, Rashford sent a message on Twitter to his new Manchester United teammate Lisandro Martinez.
Rashford wrote on Twitter: “Welcome to Manchester Lisandro.”
The statement from Manchester United confirming the transfer: “Manchester United is delighted to announce the club has reached agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Argentine international defender Lisandro Martinez, subject to medical, to player terms being finalised, and to UK visa requirements.”
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Lisandro Martinez will join Manchester United on a contract until 2027 with an option of another year.
