Manchester United beat Crystal Palace as Marcus Rashford scores his second pre-season goal
Manchester United continued our fine pre-season form under Erik ten Hag with a 3-1 victory over Premier League side Crystal Palace.
Anthony Martial scored his third pre-season goal in just three games in the 18th minute to give Manchester United a 1-0 lead at half-time.
Marcus Rashford scored his second pre-season goal for the Red Devils in 48th minute with an assist from Donny van de Beek, who was a half-time substitute. Jadon Sancho got the third goal for Manchester United in the 59th minute with Martial providing the assist.
Joel Ward scored for Crystal Palace in the 74th minute to reduce the deficit to 3-1 through a corner-kick but David de Gea should have stopped the goal.
19 year old William Fish, who joined the tour following the withdrawal of Axel Tuanzebe for personal reasons, was sent off in the 84th minute after bringing down Akinwale just outside the box.
Manchester United remain unbeaten in pre-season after beating Liverpool 4-0, Melbourne Victory 4-1 and Crystal Palace 3-1.
