Ten Hag reveals what he expects from Manchester United against a tough Aston Villa side
Manchester United will conclude our pre-season tour of Australia with a game against Aston Villa at the Optus Stadium in Perth on Saturday.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is again hoping to see his team build on the slick attacking play they have displayed so far.
“We have the intention to play brilliant football, only one thing, we have an opponent every time – and they don’t cooperate,” Ten Hag said.
“So first it’s about our philosophy, we want to play proactive football, attacking football, I know the opponent for tomorrow will be tough – it is great test. In that sense Perth is really lucky.”
Manchester United have won all our pre-season games so far, beating Liverpool 4-0, Melbourne Victory 4-1 and Crystal Palace 3-1.
