“He won’t play for Manchester United again” – Manchester United star receives warning
Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has been warned he won’t play for Manchester United again after he criticised the club in an explosive interview.
Henderson revealed he rejected a number of loan offers last summer having been told he would be the club’s first-choice goalkeeper but the club failed to keep to its promise with David de Gea remaining as no.1.
Henderson also revealed that he did not speak to Erik ten Hag before he left the club, adding that he feels United “wasted” a year of his career.
@XavLester tweeted: “Them Dean Henderson quotes are weird, if he’s as good as he thinks he is why would he not want Ten Hag to see him train and stay to be number 1 what he supposedly wants.”
@TheDensonGeorge tweeted: “Dean, what are you doing ? He could have just quietly completed his loan and come back. I doubt decision makers at Man Utd are taking this lightly, especially with the leaks and the player issues last season.”
@ashavhic tweeted: “Damn I don’t think he will play for Utd ever again if ETH hears this.”
@Yomade26 tweeted: “I do not support this outburst at all but clearly he’s frustrated and I believe he should be number 1 at the club right now.”
@SimonKayUtd tweeted: “Sense of entitlement. Good riddance!! He shouldn’t even think of coming back. No wonder the Club got nowhere with this lot in the dressing room.”
@19darren82 tweeted: “With these comments it’s unlikely you’ll be back pal.”
@UtdDais tweeted: “Hope this Dean Henderson situation doesn’t mean he won’t play for United again. Should be coming back next season as our number 1.”
