Cristiano Ronaldo slammed for disrespecting Manchester United

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been slammed for his disrespectful behaviour to the club by leaving Old Trafford before the final whistle in the 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano last Sunday.

Speaking to ESPN FC, former Chelsea and France centre-back Frank Leboeuf said: “Cristiano Ronaldo’s behaviour is wrong for me.

“It’s not professional with all due respect and the fact I appreciate the player and what he achieved in his career. But it’s not professional.

“It’s disrespectful towards the club. You have to stay, you have to show respect to the other players, to the fans that came, you still belong to the club.

“You signed for it, you have to play for them. They want to keep you so the only thing you have to say is at least sit on the bench and wait.”

Ronaldo is keen on leaving Manchester United this summer but the Red Devils insist he’s not for sale.
